Easy 3 Steps!!! The PADI Open Water Diver course includes three main phases:
Step 1 ( Home Study )
What You Learn
Knowledge Development to understand basic principles of scuba diving.
Unlike many other dive schools, your Private Instructor will e-mail you a PADI code to begin study online in the PADI eLearning system (learn more 1). You can study whenever you want at your leisure. We also include your crewpack with the PADI Logbook & Dive Tables.
Your materials will cover what you need to know about basic scuba diving skills, terminology and safety procedures. For each concept you’ll read a description, take quizzes and watch a video demonstration.
Once you have completed the online PADI academic sessions you will be ready to jump in the pool (or pool-like environment) to practice these skills with your instructor. See the Step 2.
PADI eLearning allows you to begin your dive education at your convenience and finish your training in the water with your Personal Instructor. With PADI eLearning, you complete most of the classroom portion at your own pace. If you have a busy schedule or just prefer the convenience of having your materials in digital form, eLearning is a good choice for you.
Online or Offline which method is good for you?
Offline version works best on Mobile and tablet devices. Internet is only needed to download materials at the beginning and upload progress upon completion.
Step 2 ( Meet me at the pool )
Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills.
At this stage you will be delighted to know that you can breathe underwater. At the private pool you and your Personal Instructor will practice the basic water skills needed to enjoy diving safely for the rest of your life.
Of course, by the end of this phase you will surely be excited and want something even more exciting. Well, let's jump to Step 3
Step 3 (Open Water Dives - let’s go to the Ocean!)
Open Water Dives to review your skills and explore!
This is where you see and do the things you've only dreamed of. This is probably the greatest sensation you can legally share with others, You and your Private Instructor go over the skills that you developed in the pool during your open water dives. After the successful completion of the last open water dive, you are rewarded with your PADI world recognized scuba certification Card good for a lifetime of fun and enjoyment.
